A small workshop where design meets art.
The workshop
Since 2016
We started with one chair drawn from a few circles and a column. Today a team of twelve makes every piece by hand: upholsterers, metalworkers, a stone cutter and two designers who still sketch on paper first.
We keep the shapes simple and the materials honest, so a piece looks as good in ten years as it does on the day it arrives.
Materials
Wool, wood, stone, metal
Wool bouclé from a mill in the north, ash and oak from managed forests, marble cut to order, and brass and copper worked and patinated by hand.
